Located on 823 acres at the southwest corner of Scottsdale Road and Carefree Highway in the beautiful high Sonoran Desert with Black Mountain to the north and the Boulders to the east. The name “Terravita” comes from the Latin words Terra (land or earth) and Vita (life), thus creating the harmony of land and life.

Terravita´s guard-gated residential golf community features a wide range of homes and lot sizes, offering a variety of exterior designs and interior options.  Homes are arranged in residential neighborhood enclaves and nearly every home backs up to the golf course or natural desert.  In creating Terravita, the planners and developers took the already strict Scottsdale building guidelines another step, adopting a single-story architectural design that features non-reflective flat tile roofs, and building materials that blend with the desert backdrop.
